Guide: Creating Offers (Discounts & Rebates) in TireConnect


Step 1: Log in and Choose Your Level

  1. Access your TireConnect Administrative portal and log in.

  2. Choose whether you are setting up a Client Level offer (global offers for all dealers in your network) or a Dealer Level offer (tailored to an individual dealership).


Step 2: Navigate to the Offers Menu

  1. Select a specific dealer from your list and click their Profile (if you are creating a Dealer Level offer).

  2. Click on Offers located in the top menu bar or the vertical dealer menu.


Step 3: Create a New Offer

  1. Locate the New button on the Offers List page.

  2. Click the button to launch the New Offer editor.


Step 4: Enter Main Info & Suppliers

  1. Navigate to the Main Info heading within the editor.

  2. Select the Suppliers that this offer will apply to.

  3. Type in an engaging Name for the offer.

  4. Write a short Description (this will appear on the search results page beneath the associated tire).


Step 5: Choose Display Locations

  1. Select your desired display locations (e.g., the main TireConnect search results widget, the standalone TireConnect Offers widget, or both).

  2. Upload a promotional image if you are utilizing the standalone widget.


Step 6: Set the Offer Dates

  1. Scroll down to the Dates heading.

  2. Select the specific Start and End dates for your promotion.

  3. Check the Ongoing box if this is a permanent promotion with no planned end date.


  1. Locate the Legal Info section.

  2. Paste the URL for any required legal disclaimers.

  3. Paste the URL for the Manufacturer's Rebate page, if applicable.


Step 8: Set Minimum Qualifiers

  1. Go to the Minimum Qualifiers section.

  2. Define any thresholds the customer must meet to receive the offer.

  3. Set these constraints based on either a required Tire Quantity (e.g., "Buy 4 Tires") or a minimum Order Amount.


Step 9: Configure the Offer Type

  1. Choose whether the promotion is a Rebate or a Discount.

  2. Check the Display Effective box if it is a Rebate (this ensures the discounted value is clearly displayed on the quote and summary pages).

  3. Choose whether the discount is a flat Amount (e.g., $50 off) or a Percentage (e.g., 10% off) if it is a Discount.

  4. Enter the exact numeric value of the discount.


Step 10: Apply Filters

  1. Navigate to the Filters section.

  2. Select the specific tire brands, models, or tire types to restrict the discount or rebate to exactly what you want to promote.


Step 11: Save and Publish

  1. Review all your configured settings for accuracy.

  2. Click save to publish the offer to your widget based on your selected dates.


Additional Notes

  • TireConnect has access to several national manufacturer offers that are applied globally and can be found in the offers section of your admin account
  • in cases where a national offer is not listed, you'll have full control of adding any discounts and rebates you'd like to present
  • dealer and/or supplier specific offers cannot be added by the TireConnect team as TireConnect support is only authorized to apply any offers that a general consumer can find on the manufacturer website
  • if a national offer is present on your account that you do not provide, please do not hesitate to contact support@tireconnect.ca to have it removed from your account
