Guide: On Hand Inventory
Part 1: Navigating to Your Inventory
Log into your TireConnect account.
Click on Dealers in the left-hand menu.
Click the Actions button on the far right of the dealers page.
Select Inventory from the dropdown menu.
Part 2: Adding a Standard Tire Individually
Use this method for tires that are already in the TireConnect database.
Click the Add New Tire button.
Open the Brand dropdown and select the tire brand.
Open the Model dropdown. The list will be narrowed down based on your chosen brand; select the correct model.
Use the Select Size menu to choose the accurate tire size from the populated list.
Input the Price. Ensure this is your final retail price excluding taxes and installation.
Enter your available stock in the Quantity field.
Choose the Status (Active or Disabled) to instantly control whether the tire is visible on your TireConnect widget.
Click Save and back at the bottom to lock in your changes and add the part to your inventory list.
Part 3: Adding a Custom or Unlisted Tire
Use this method for tires that are not in the standard TireConnect database.
Click the Add New Tire button.
Enter the Part Number to uniquely identify the tire.
Open the Brand dropdown. If the brand isn't listed, select Other and type the full custom brand name.
Click Browse to upload an image of the tire, if you have one.
Fill out the remaining specifications. Only fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory, but filling out as much as possible ensures the tire displays properly in search results.
Input your Price and Quantity, then set the Status.
Click Save and back to record your changes.
Part 4: Importing a Batch of Tires via Excel
Use this feature to upload an Excel sheet to speed up the process. Note: This method only works for tires that match the TireConnect database.
Click Import.
Map your columns: In each field, enter the corresponding letter of the column from your Excel sheet (e.g., if Brand names are in column A, type "A" into the Brand field).
Set the Skip rows option to ignore headers. For example, enter "1" if your spreadsheet has one header row, ensuring only actual tire data is processed.
Click Browse to find and select the Excel file from your computer.
Click Import to start the upload. A message will appear at the top notifying you that the import is processing.
Refresh the page periodically. Once finished, the message will read "100% processed."
Click the Last import status tab to see the list of changes. If any tires in your file didn't match the system, they will be tallied under "not found."
Part 5: Managing Your Existing Inventory
Once your tires are in the system, you can easily manage them directly from the inventory page.
Quick Edits: You can manually update the Quantity or Pricing directly on the main inventory list without uploading a new file. Click "OK" to save the new amounts.
Changelog: You can view a changelog for any part number to see its update history.
