Wholesale Client Account Creation (SOP)

Introduction


The purpose of this document is to outline the procedure of creating new clients in the TireConnect Wholesale Admin Backend. TireConnect clients are advised during the training session to copy an existing wholesale client account and/or the template that is created during the session. The purpose of copying is to provide ease of setup and to ensure that any configuration that is shared across clients is carried over. *Note - Only create “NEW” if existing configuration does not apply to the new account being created.

Dashboard


Once logged in you’ll be taken to the orders page. This will have all wholesale orders received from clients who have access to your TireConnect Wholesale portal.







Clients


In order to create new clients, there are two options which are outlined below.


New - By clicking on “new”, you are aware that the configuration in the template and/or existing client accounts does not apply to this new account. Proceed with filling out the fields, applying suppliers and tire pricing as necessary.



Copy Client (recommended) - Copying clients is recommended as this will ensure the configuration is uniform across all accounts created. This is also advised as you will not need to reconfigure suppliers, tire pricing and custom inventory as this gets carried over. Company details for the newly copied client will need to be adjusted as necessary. 


  • To copy an existing account, simply check the box next to the client you’d like to copy


  • Click on the “choose an action” dropdown and select “copy clients”; click on “go” to 

proceed



A copy is now ready to be used for the new client account. As previously stated, company name and other details in the profile will need to be adjusted accordingly.




Final Note


It is always advised to test the account to ensure that inventory and prices are being displayed as expected before providing wholesale client access to your TireConnect Wholesale portal. For any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact support@tireconnect.ca for assistance.
